The Story of the Ugly Duckling...

The Ugly Duckling Baking Company, or UDBC for short, is a lifelong dream for me, Chef Owner/Operator, Jay Clifton. After graduating Culinary School during the 2019-2020 Covid-19 Pandemic, I needed to find a way to still provide for myself. I've never had a huge love for cake decorating, but there is one thing I know I do extremely well: create flavors and whimsical cupcakes. So with that and my artisan breads, the Ugly Duckling came to be!
